Books on my Shelf: Lisa Scottoline

As you’ve noticed, I love to read. It is one of my favorite things to do to relax and it’s just really fun to be taken away into a story that has nothing to do with your own life.

An author I recently started loving is Lisa Scottoline. My mom and I read many of the same books, and she’s the one that suggested her to me. She has some really scandalous mystery books that keep me on the edge of my seat.

I’m going to be honest, though. Some of these mysteries are downright weird. But that does nothing but intrigue me more!!

Scottoline has many books so I’ve only read some of them. But here are my absolute favorites:

  1. Think Twice – this is by far the freakiest of the bunch that has the weirdest twists but it is so riveting I couldn’t put it down.
  2. Come Home – this is her latest book and it is another with crazy twists and turns all throughout the novel to keep you on your toes. Definitely a great read.
  3. Save Me – this centers around a school fire, so from the beginning there is much to think about. This one another I couldn’t put down.
  4. Look Again – this is the first of Scottoline’s books that I read about a missing child. It is really scandalous and actually makes you think about whether this could happen in real life!

Like I said, Scottoline is a great mystery, thriller writer. Her books are not relatable at all but you need to know what happens and that’s what really draws you in. They’re a great escape from daily life and completely exciting. I am already so excited for her new book Don’t Go to come out in April 2013!
